Shocker? Elissa's MVP Twist

So this week's MVP nominee was just revealed to the houseguests on the live feeds, and it's:

MVP!
So now America is all:

Could you repeat those instructions?
Congrats, Topaz - it's not just you anymore!

...Just kidding. The internet is starting to speculate that fans mistakenly voted their favorite for MVP, but I don't think that's the case at all (despite an earnest effort from some fans to ensure that it happened - *cough*, BBGossip, *cough*). On further reflection, I don't think it's a surprise that Elissa scored this week's MVP nomination from America, and I don't think America Topazed us, either.

Think about it for a second. Elissa, to borrow a phrase from BBUK, is the Marmite houseguest. She's loved by a passionate brigade of Rachel fans, marching alongside people who flocked to her due to her early victimization in the house, but she's similarly loathed by Rachel haters and those who feel she's taking away from the show and the game by being a waste of space.

Did Elissa come in first in nomination voting? Of course she did not. Aaryn is the season's villain, heck, she's probably one of the most hated villains ever on the show, and the Elissa fans and others no doubt teamed up to vote their keyboards off for her. (I may have thrown a few votes her way myself, hoping for a Nerd Herd-style meltdown from Aaryn.) Kaitlin may have beaten Elissa, too - we'll never know, since Judd nominated the both of them, eliminating them from eligibility for America's vote.

About that.
But not everyone voted for Kaitlin or Aaryn. It's quite possible that Elissa is the second or third most hated houseguest, in addition to being the most popular. BBUK fans have been dealing with this dynamic for years, with the constant tug-of-war between Vote-to-Save and Vote-to-Evict. A traditional BBUK Vote-to-Evict eliminates the controversial Marmite houseguests from contention, while the newer Channel 5 Vote-to-Save propels great characters to the end, like the Shannon twins, Spencer and Heidi, or Aaron. (They're back to a Vote-to-Evict this year, if you're counting.)

What we're looking at here is a mid-game switcheroo, from a "Vote To Save" to a "Vote to Evict". It's very possible that Elissa scores highly in both without any fan interference.

Her brother-in-law Brendon certainly did in season 13, where despite being widely despised by the audience, he still managed to win a vote to return to the house, when a dominant Dom-and-Cassi-loving voting audience split the vote and Brendon crept in from behind with the half-hearted support of Jeff/Jordan fans:

Brendon-39.5%
Dom-31%
Cassi-28.5%
Keith-1%

Marmite, folks. There's no production interference here, there's no manipulation, it's pure and simple voting theory.

Elissa is loved and Elissa is hated, and with Aaryn and Kaitlin out of contention, the Elissa nomination makes perfect sense.

So voting aside, the paranoia is already running amok in the house, and the game's about to get fun. The houseguests are scattering like mice (hamsters?) and whispering wildly about who could be the new MVP, and who to save, and how to strategize the veto competition.

I have to tip my hat to Production on this one, it's already far more fun than a fourth dreary week of Elissa as MVP.

BB15 Wednesday Night BBMVP and POV Recap

It’s Wednesday night BB recap time.  Who did America pick as this week’s BBMVP? Who is the third nominee? Who wins the POV?  Stay tune and let’s find out.

Picking up where we left off, Helen nominated Kaitlin and Aaryn for eviction.  The DRs by Kaitlina and Aaryn were actually not that bad, just the same rhetoric we usually see about getting off themselves off the block.  After the nomination ceremony, Kaitlin and Jeremy were talking about how the BBMVP will probably be Elissa…again…and he will get put on the block.  If that is not enough, we next get Helen in the DR telling us that she needs to talk to Elissa who will probably get the BBMVP again so that they can decide who to put up as the third nominee.  And take a wild guess who the BBMVP is?  Yep, Elissa.  HEY AG AND ALL OF THE DAMN BB PRODUCERS, EVEN THE HGS ARE GETTING TIRED OF THIS SHIT!!! Enough!!! Please!!! It is a joke. The best player is not winning the MVP.  Please, STOP IT NOW!!! As long as Elissa is in the house, she will be the BBMVP.  How about we just give her a three-week immunity pass and call it even and stop this non-sense of the crapola BBMVP?  I know, same rant from last week.  But, at least I feel better.  Moving on.

For the next 10 minutes, we get Elissa, Amanda, McCrae and Helen debating/arguing as to who the third nominee will be.  Actually, iit really was not a debate or even an argument.  It was Amanda making a lot of sense in selecting Howard to go on the block and Elissa, being the dumbass that she is, refusing to listen to logic and wanting to put up Spencer.  Let’s see, if your plan is to backdoor Jeremy and you want someone you nominate to win the POV so that you can control the replacement nominee, do you put up someone that is physically fit? Or someone that is not? Why yes, I would go with the latter every single time…if I were a freaking dumbass like Elissa.  “I was not going to be pressured on who to nominate.” SHUT. UP. You are an idiot.

Before the POV, Amanda has a little chat with Kaitlin and basically tells her that Aaryn is on her own and she needs to win the POV.  And if she does win the POV and does not use it, she will be going home.  Kaitlin, surprisingly, took the news well.

Time for the BBMVP nomination and the POV selection.  Of course, idiot Elissa picks Spencer.  How much you want to bet that Spencer finishes dead last in the POV comp? As for the POV comp, GinaMarie, and Candice were selected to play.

The POV comp was “Keeping up with the Jones.”  One at a time, each POV player has to jump on a trampoline, look over a wall into a living room that contained several famous painting that had the HG’s faces on them, memorize the painting on the wall, get off the trampoline, run to their own living room, and hang the painting in the exact same order.  Fastest time wins the POV.  Guess who got exhausted? Guess who was so out of shape to the point that they had to cheat to complete the comp? Guess who did not get a time penalty for cheating because they were so far out of it that it didn’t matter? Guess who finished dead last? That’s right, Spencer.  Elissa, you are a freaking idiot.  As for the fastest time and the winner of the POV, that would be Kaitlin.

Sometime after the POV comp, Kaitlin talks to Helen about who the replacement nominee might be.  Kaitlin suggested that if she uses it, that Helen needed to put up Howard.  Helen point blank told her that she was going to put up Jeremy. Period. End of the story.  I will spare you all of the other conversations and tell you that Kaitlin used the POV and Helen, true to her word, put up Jeremy as the replacement nominee.

So, who do you want to see go home tomorrow? Who should have Elissa put on the block? Do you agree with me that Elissa is a freaking idiot?  Sound off below and let us know what you think.

#BB15: What In the World is Going On?

First off, I have to apologize for neglecting the very blog I started, for a very busy first three weeks of BB. Life happens.

Big thanks to Getting Lost, who has been an enormous help in keeping everyone up to date (including me - I had no idea why Daley had been expelled on BBUK until I read it on my own blog. That's a first...) I do intend to cover BB15 as much as I can find the time, and now that the game is in gear, it's a good time to start weighing back in.

Second, on that note - my God, what a season so far. The elephant in the room, of course, is the racism issue, which anyone who has the internet is aware of by now.

And wow. It's tough to watch at times. My own ethnicity has yet to be insulted (this season, anyway), so I can't even imagine what viewers who do fall into those groups must feel. I know I've spoken to folks who are having a very tough time watching this season. Is it any wonder that Production stepped in to keep Howard off the block this week? Their sole chance of a watchable edit would have been ruined. It's happened in the past, so it's nice to see some recognition from Production that we want the story we're watching to be satisfying. Aaryn's ride from queen bee to bottom feeder has certainly been a fun one to watch, for all her loathsome villainy.

Aaryn and her chosen chess pieces. Don't tell me you're surprised.
There are moments already making this season memorable outside of the horrible comments controversy. GinaMarie's endless mourning for Nick was feeds gold, especially with the recent revelation that the hat she's been wearing in tribute to him actually belongs to McRae, but no one can bring themselves to tell her that. Gold!

The fights have also been off the hook, with this Sunday's "Bedgate" sequence being particularly well-edited. Candice squealing "NICK'S NOT HEEEEERE AND I AM!" may go down as almost as memorable a moment as "Anyone want some cake?", at least in my book.

Kleenax, Nick's shorts - hard to tell the difference.
And let's not ignore the fact that, for all the horribly unlikable players, there is some good game play happening this year.

Unlike other recent seasons, houseguests are showing independence in their votes, throwing hinky votes and switching at the last minute. The Nick vs. Elissa vs. Helen vote quite literally came down to the wire, and was actually unpredictable on TV. Feeds viewers expected an 8-3 vote and were shocked when Howard decided to stay loyal to Nick in the Diary Room.

Can anyone remember the last time we were actually surprised by a houseguest's vote in the Diary Room? It may not have changed the outcome, but the suspense is nice. For once, I don't feel like I know what's going to happen.

Team Helen
Strategy-wise, the Moving Company has now joined the ranks of BB Canada's Quattro in proving why the Brigade has been under-appreciated for their strategic success. The MC showed early promise, with members starting to build side alliances and pledging loyalty to the main alliance, but the gig was up the second Jeremy took his cue from BB Canada's Tom Plant and let his ego get in the way.

The ultimate downfall of the Moving Company came down to one moment: Jeremy's decision to threaten anyone who wanted to evict Kaitlin while simultaneously pushing for McRae's side ally Amanda to be evicted soon. The second that started, the Moving Company was done.

Let's talk about specific games for a moment, McRae's to start. Wednesday and Thursday, the internet lit up with speculation as McRae started to shift without making his intentions entirely clear to the feed viewers. Ultimately McRae's decision to fully buck the MC in favor of Amanda changed the game - and yet, in the house, the blame is falling on everyone from Jessie to Spencer/Howard, with McRae's key role virtually ignored. I'm liking McRae and his game. He's a strong comp threat with a decent social game who is under the radar. The pizza boy is looking to go deep.

I like Amanda too, though she's a much more visible threat than McRae and topping several target lists right now. They're an odd couple, with Amanda's forceful personality and McRae's quiet beta male presence, but somehow it works, and their strategy together has been good so far. Ultimately, he's doing well to play with her, because she's very likely to go before him. Some of the internet shippers have been all about his "You're my queen" comment, not realizing that in context, that wasn't some sappy declaration of love - it was basic, solid game analysis. McRae is well-hidden behind Amanda and well-positioned to go deep into the game right now, with Amanda as the more visible "queen" in his game of chess. Until she goes, they're an unusual but interesting pair to watch, as long as they're not going to Sea World. (If you don't get that reference, feel lucky.)

What about the others? Jeremy, Aaryn, Kaitlin and GinaMarie, of course, are abysmally awful. They've alienated the house with bullying and general high school snottiness, causing even follower Jessie to revolt in disgust. Of all of them, GinaMarie looks likely to go far in the game, more as a goat than because of any solid gameplay.

Howard was playing a good game until his hinky vote this week, which led to much suspicion and upped him on many target lists. I have to give him credit for his obvious efforts to suppress his (understandable) anger and focus on game play. That didn't look easy, but props to Howard for strategy on that. If he can manage to slide through the hinky vote guilt and survive another couple of weeks, he might go deep in the game. Wouldn't it be ironic if the "racism" season of Big Brother resulted in the first-ever African-American winner? I think it's entirely possible if Howard can get his game under control in the next few days. (Candice isn't out of the question either, though she seems to be high on the target list of the snotty girls, for non-strategic reasons I have yet to fully grasp.) Spencer is similarly playing an okay game, but is a little too shady to go much deeper than early jury as of right now.

Judd is also playing well and quickly becoming a fan favorite with his drawling quips. He's a little too under-the-radar right now for me to judge his strategy, but I do find him and Jessie together to be a cute and inoffensive combination and very watchable on the feeds, which is more than I can say for most of the cast right now. Neither one looks likely to go anytime soon, so hopefully as the crowd thins, we'll see more of them and get a better sense.

Then there's Andy. Oh, Andy. It's always something when you can invent an entirely new strategy never before seen on the show, and Andy's "feed bombing" is becoming legendary on nearly every Big Brother website. Besides being hilarious and something he will probably never live down, it's not bad strategy. Andy does have a solid, if hyperactive, social game, and is liked and trusted by many in the house. His over-the-top bouncing around the house also lands him in many key conversations (and prevents others that could harm him). Will the houseguests grow sick of him and evict him? I see Andy going deep in the game right now. By the way, you know how everyone always argues over the definition of "floater"? Andy is playing a classic, BB4 Jun Song-style floating game right now, and is doing that well. We'll see if he can keep it up as the power continues to shift.

As for Elissa and Helen... sigh. It's really time for someone else to be voted MVP, and I endorse anyone but Elissa at this point. Elissa is also likely to be voted out once the power shifts away from her, which should happen in the next week or two. Helen is a strong political strategist, but has been a little overbearing on her HOH. It's possible that houseguests will start to grow weary of her soon, especially once Elissa is gone and the rest of them have to spend time with her.

All in all, while it's been an uncomfortable season at times, there is some promise for a good game to play out over the coming weeks, and I promise that I will try to be around to weigh in on it as much as I can. And in the meantime - thanks again to new PBP correspondent Getting Lost!

Weekend Recap - Noms, BBMVP and POV BB15

Welcome to the weekend recap.  If you had real life to tend to and missed the entire weekend, let me get you caught up.

As we saw Thursday night, Helen won HOH.  Since then, she has cried, yelled, cried, promised everyone everything, cried, and then cried some more.   Yep, she is a crier and the damn button pusher on the live feeds wanted to make sure we don’t miss a single second of her crying.  Damn exciting stuff, let me tell you.

Anyway, after holding court in the HOH and making a couple of thousand promises and a couple of thousands tears, Helen finally nominated Aaryn and Kaitlin with the idea of backdooring Jeremy. This, of course, changed several times and in fact, Helen, at one point, said that nominations would be a shock, as she would be putting up someone from “her side.” Like all of her other promises, that didn’t happen either.

As to the BBMVP, anyone care to take a wild guess who the public picked? Your first 13 guesses don’t count.   Yep, third week in a row, Elissa is selected as the BBMVP.  People, this is a joke.  An absolute joke.  She has not done shit to win the BBMVP.  Not one damn thing.  I wish AG would just call this what it is: who’s fans can out vote the other fans.  It would not piss me off nearly as much.  But noooooo.  We have to hide behind this best player of the week BS.  Like I said, an absolute joke.  Okay, okay, enough of my rant. Elissa is the BBMVP.  After several conversations with Helen and the “Good People” inter circle, everyone agreed for the BBMVP to put up Howard.  Well, everyone but production.  We know this because the live feed button pusher was not quick enough and we heard Helen say a couple of times that the DR did not want Howard to go on the block.  So, guess who is not on the block? That’s right Howard. Instead, Elissa nominated Spencer.  Whatever.  It really does not matter. As of right not, and this is subject to change about as often and as quickly as Helen cries, Jeremy is the target.

This brings us to the POV.  When the feeds came back after being down for five hours, we learn that Kaitlin won the POV.  For a couple of hours, there was some chatter that Kaitlin might not actually use the POV.  I think this was just twitter chatter as prior to the POV, Kaitlin was told that Jeremy was the target and that if she won and did not use it, she would be voted out.  There is plenty of time before the POV ceremony tomorrow.  Still yet, with the way everyone is acting, it appears that the “Helen Plan” is a go wherein Kaitlin will use the POV on herself and Helen will pick Jeremy as the replacement nominee.  But then again, Helen could cry 10 or 15 times between now and the POV ceremony and things could change, but I doubt it.

What do you think? It is Jeremy’s time to go home? Will Helen cry 10 or 20 times before the POV ceremony? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Big Brother 15 Episode 6 Recap

Picking up where we left off from the last episode, Aaryn nominated Elissa and Helen.  After the nomination ceremony, we get the typical piss and vinegar as to how they are going to survive and go after the HOH next week.  Blah blah blah.  Speaking of DRs, is it me or do you also lose massive amounts of brain cells every time Elissa talks to us from the DR?  Good, glad to hear that it is just not me.  Moving on.

Oh look, this next segment is what I like to call, “What in the hell are you thinking?” segment.  Yes, I am talking about the supposed secret alliance between Aaryn and Helen.  I am sure this will last. Yeah, not.

Time for Elissa's weekly award, the BBMVP!!!  Yes campers, no surprise here as she wins again.  If I remember correctly, this “award” is suppose to be for the HG who is playing the best game for the week.  Let’s think about this…how many comps has she won? Oh that’s right, none.  What has she done that has been so spectacular this week? You guessed it, not a damn thing.  Hell, she is on the block and has barely campaigned for herself.  Yes, America, she most certainly deserves to be BBMVP.  Thank you.

I am not a big advocate of a lot of makeup, but holy crap, GinaMarie is a completely different person without makeup…and not in a good way.   This, of course, leads us into our next filler segment wherein BB shows America just how much a psycho stalker GinaMarie is.  My respect for Nick just greatly increased.  Anyone that can put up with that thing trailing him like she is and not instantly file for a restraining order is golden in my book.  Keep running Nick.  Keep running.

Time for the POV meeting…well almost.  First we have to find out who the permanent BBMVP nominated.  In a stroke of brilliance, Elissa nominated Jeremy.  Time to put our thinking caps on boys and girls.  They have been in an indoor lock down since the previous evening.  Hmmm…this probably means that it is going to be a physical comp.  Who in the house is one of the most athletic and physically fit HGs? Why yes, let’s nominate him and make it that much harder for myself to win the POV.  I’m serious people, is she all there? Anyway, Elissa nominated Jeremy and Aaryn picked Nick and Amanda.  So, the POV players are Elissa, Helen, Jeremy, Aaryn, Amanda, and Nick.  GinaMarie gets to host.  Wonderful.

Here comes one of those great CBS edits.  In an effort to save her ass, Elissa offers a two-week deal with Nick if he throws the POV.  In the DR, Nick says that he has no intention of keeping the deal.  Now, as Paul Harvey liked to say, here is the rest of the story. Elissa is the one who breached the deal, not Nick.  But, this is not the Nick show, it is the Elissa show.  And we need to save her.  So, who gets the better edit? That’s right, AG’s pet.

Okay, time for the POV comp.  We get a short video from former HG Britney telling and showing us that she is pregnant, which basically was a clue that the POV was a baby theme.  In an effort to save your time and mine, basically the POV was a baby’s playpen where the HGs had to hang stuffed animals on a mobile.  First one to hang 10 animals wins.  Take a wild guess who won?  Yep, that’s right, Jeremy.  I mean, really, is anyone shocked? Didn’t think so.  And just how did Jeremy handle the victory? Like a true douche bag.  Let me put it this way, he was still wearing the POV necklace 10 hours later when he was having sex with Kaitlin in the HOH bed…which later lead to “staingate”. No, don’t ask.  If you can’t figure it out, I am not explaining it. Moving on.

Speaking of “staingate”, next we get Jeremy and Kaitlin making out on the HOH bed.  Come on Big Brother, do we really need to see this?  No we don’t.

Finally, we get to the end of the show with the POV ceremony.  If you thought he was a douche bag after the POV comp, he took it to another 10 levels during his speech where he said that he was not going to use the POV...dramatic pause…on Elissa or Helen…another dramatic pause…but instead he will use it on himself.  Nice douche bag, really nice.  So, this means that Elissa has to nominate someone else.  She has not used her brain or any common sense up to this point, so why should she start now? Instead of nominating someone that the house may vote out that is in the current power alliance, you know, like Kaitlin, she instead nominates someone that just might save her ass, Nick. (read the fine print there, I said "might")  Nick, someone who she made a deal with. Granted, she tried adding additional requirements after making the original deal, but still yet, why Nick? Well, since she can't use her own brain to save her own ass, I guess we will leave that to AG. Still yet, like I just inferred, I don’t believe that Elissa will get evicted, as I am 100% positive that AG will find someway to keep her in the house.  If she can't get the votes, can you say Pandora's Box?

Well, that is it for tonight.  The second HG will be walking out the door Thursday night.  Will it be Nick? Will it be Helen?  It sure as hell won’t be Elissa.  Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think.

Drunk House Guests Make the Best House Guests - BB15

Before we get to the events that have transpired over the last 48 hours, I first would like to thank CBS for addressing the racial and homophobic comments that some of the HGs have been making.  CBS did not address every HG and every comment, but this is a first for CBS Big Brother to address such issues on the TV shows.  For that, I applaud them.  We still have a long way to go, but this is a start.  Thank you CBS Big Brother.

As for what is going on in the house, I think pictures are a much better indicator.  You know, such as a photo like this:

Or this:

Yep.  That happened.  In fact, the bandaids were the only thing she wore up top most of the night/early morning.  In the words of Amanda: if you are not showing nipple, it is not nudity.  Try and explain that one to your parents boys and girls.
Not wanting to miss out on a golden opportunity, Big Brother even made a comment about it.
BB: Amanda, attach your microphone to your shirt.
Amanda: I’m not wearing a shirt.
Big Brother: ZZZZIIIIINNNNNGGGGG.
Yep. It was a fun drunk filled night.  Of course, it did not end there.  Kaitlin and Jeremy where feeling a little frisky and finally said to hell with it and relieved their sexual frustrations.  Yes, they had sex.  Yes, it was caught on camera.  No, I don’t have the FlashBack time. For me, the most hilarious part of them having sex is that Kaitlin was complaining of a UTI a couple hours before they did the deed.  Can you say Yuck?

I will have to say that the funniest thing about the whole bandaid tatas parade is that Helen and Andy did not want any part of it and disappeared somewhere else in the house to talk game.  Yes they did.  At least Elissa had the common decency to sit on the couch in the back yard and watch the events unfold.

Okay, now as to actual gameplay, let’s get caught up.  (Please forgive me, as you probably already know most of this) Aaryn is the HOH and she nominated Elissa and Helen.  Elissa is the BBMVP and she nominated Jeremy.  Jeremy won the POV and will probably take himself off the block.  I say maybe because his arrogance may get the best of him and he may think that he is safe enough that he does not need to use the POV. Oh how I would love for that to happen.  He is such a douche bag.  Just how big of a douche bag you ask? Let me put it this way, I’m pretty sure that he was still wearing the POV necklace when he was having sex with Kaitlin Sunday night/Monday morning.  Enough said?  Good.  Moving on.  The POV ceremony is Monday and we will find out for sure.  If Jeremy does take himself off the block, it appears that Elissa will nominate Nick.  If not Nick, then Kaitlin, which is who Aaryn wants gone.  Why? So she can have Jeremy to herself.  Nope. Not kidding.  Can we say sloppy seconds? You know, I think I just prefer Yuck.

As to Nick, he heard that he might be the replacement nominee and decided it was time to talk to Elissa.  That conversation lasted for about…10 seconds as that is when Elissa got up with Nick in mid-sentence and left the room.  Again, nope, not kidding.  Nick could care less as he believes that even if he is nominated, he has the votes to stay.  By not engaging in a conversation with Nick to see what he had to offer, Elissa may have just sealed her fate.  Based upon current alliances and votes, Nick should have enough votes to stay.  Thus, it comes down to Helen and Elissa.  And based on the majority of the house not liking Elissa, there is a very good chance that she will see Julie this Thursday.  That is, unless she makes Kaitlin the replacement nominee…and then the real fun starts. I mean shit hitting the fan kind of fun.  The reason we buy the feeds kind of fun.  Not the above tatas kind of fun, but the…okay, you get my point. It will be fun to watch everyone scramble. I suspect that AG knows this and the DR handlers will be pushing Elissa in the DR to put up Kaitlin. Let’s hope so anyway.

That is it for now.  What do you think? Should BB give them alcohol every night? Is Jeremy really a douche bag? Who will Elissa put up as the replacement nominee? Sound off in the comments below and let us know.

It's Fight Night in the BB15 House Y'all

Right after midnight, when the HaveNots became Haves and BB served up a little bit of alcohol, everything should have been Happy Happy times in the BB house, right? Nope. Not even close. It’s fight night y’all, and the shit is going down.

It basically stated with a little tiff between Jeremy and Kaitlin.  After stealing a bottle of red wine (hang on, I will get there) Jessie asked Jeremy where Kaitlin was.  Jeremy replied that she was being a “bitch and I told her that she ought to go to bed.”  Oh no he didn’t.  Oh yes he did.  Wait, it gets better.  Jessie tells Jeremy that he needs to go check on her.  Of course, this is Jemery and you don't tell him what to do.  Jeremy’s reply: "No, she should cry it out, and if she wants to be that way, I told her I’d vote her out next week." For all of the future women who might date boat boy, you have been warned.

For Jeremy, that was just the beginning.  While out at the hot tub with Jeremy, Aaryn though that everyone was giving her mean looks.  Ummm...no honey, they are looking at Jeremy for taking the entire bottle of red wine and not sharing it with anyone.  Feeling his oats from drinking almost the entire bottle of red wine, Jeremy decided to confront…the entire house.  Yep, that’s right, Jeremy gets up out of the hot tub and marches his drunken ass into the kitchen to tell everyone off.  Here is the thrust of his little “vote me the MVP” speech:

Hey, hey, guys…so you aren’t rude to everyone else, I was the one that popped the red wine.  I'm not going be considerate.  If y'all aren't going be considerate, I am not gonna be. I'm just tellin’ ya. I see y'all muggin' and talkin' shit all the time. I'm not gonna wait on ya'll if y'all are gonna be assholes.  If y'all have a problem, come to me, because none of these other people besides me drank that shit. And I drank the shit out of it, and I feel great, and I don't give a fuck. But if y'all have problems, come to me. I'll talk to y'all right up in the grill.  I'm not trying to be mean. I'm not tryin to bully.   But y'all can't go around talkin' shit and then expect me.  Then Helen interrupts and says that she didn’t say anything about the red wine.  Jeremy jumps right back in.  I'm lookin' at everybody. I'm just sayin, y'all can't expect me to be nice if y'all aren't gonna be nice. If you aren't gonna be considerate, I'm not gonna be considerate and that might put a target on my back, but guess what, I came here to play.  So let's go! So if you want be mean to anyone, be mean to me.
The best part (okay, you are right, there were many) Elissa laughs.

Jeremy walks back outside with Aaryn in tow.  They start talking about how fake everyone is as they claim that they didn’t have a clue what Jeremy was talking about.  Judd intervenes a little and Aaryn snaps at him,  claiming that they have had his back this entire time and he does not need to get snappy.  J U Double D plays it off and soon tensions cool off...for about 30 seconds.

Evidently, Amanda wanted some of the red wine and heard what Jeremy said in the kitchen.  She somehow manages to crawl her ass of the HOH bed, parts the oceans at Sea World, and confronts Jeremy outside.  I will not go into the details as it was just a rehash of what Jeremy said in the kitchen.  Amanda gets all teary eyed and they end up hugging it out. At least it was exciting for a moment.  Amanda dries her eyes and heads back up to the HOH bed.

Kaitlin has finally stewed long enough and wants to give Jeremy a piece of her mind.  She walks to the backdoor, opens it, and stands there.  She does not say a word.  She just stares at Jeremy.  Feeling uneasy, Spencer tells Jeremy that someone is waiting for him at the door.  And here is the exchange that happens next:
Jeremy: I know. I can feel her eyes on my back.
Kaitlin: Fucking grow a pair and come in here and talk to me.
Jeremy: Can I have a second?
Kaitlin: No.
Jeremy: Want to come lay in the hammock with me?
Kaitlin: No. Get off your ass and come talk to me in the house.

Jeremy, not being a total idiot gets up and into the bedroom they go.  This next part is so good, that I would only ruin it with my attempt at adding humor, so here it is, almost word for word.

Kaitlin: You need to stop being so irrational!!! You made a huge scene for no reason. You are going fucking home next week. You have one-sixteenth of a chance to win a true/false.  They didn't even come at you. I was there for the whole conversation. You put Aaryn in that position. And now David's going to go home because of you. (And this is a bad thing, why? Oh that’s right, because it is not Aaryn going home)

Jeremy: What's the point of sitting and lingering over it? What do you want me to do?

Kaitlin: I want you to think before you act next time, because that was ridiculous. They haven't done anything to you. They talked shit, big deal, that's what everyone does in this game. You completely overreacted in there, and made a fool of yourself, of all of us. And David's probably going home. You made way more of a disturbance than Elissa ever has.

Jeremy: I don't think you're going home.

Kaitlin: For sure. Well done. You kinda just fucked us all over.

Jeremy: It's done. I can't take it back. It is what it is at this point.

David: Now the house is completely split.

Jeremy: Wasn't it split before?

David: Now it's completely split (Not much for talking, but when he speaks, he is just brilliant)

Jeremy: I'm just ready to win already.

Nick: You gotta be.

And here is the best part:

Jeremy: You want your ring back?
Kaitlin: Go fuck yourself.
Jeremy: I feel like this is break up number 2.
Jeremy: If I yelled at you and make you feel bad, I apologize.

Kaitlin: Have you ever fucking watched an episode of Big Brother?
Jeremy: I've seen a few.
Kaitlin: Because honestly, it doesn't seem like you have.

Burn baby Burn.

A little before 1:00am, Candice and Aaryn walk in and Aaryn goes off on Candice about her damn silly hat again.  If you have the feeds, use FlashBack and watch this.  It’s actually entertaining.  It was during this fight that we got the best line of the night – BIG BIG Thanks to Ash (@ashes2ashes13 on Twitter) for pointing out this lovely nugget – during the argument, in responding to Aaryn, Candice says, “I ain’t afraid of you, boo thing.” Laughed my ass off.

Meanwhile, Jeremy gets up off his ass and finds Helen.  He apologizes and they talk for about 20 minutes.  Basically, Jeremy says that he was wrong for acting that way towards her and that it was all Elissa’s fault.  This guy is just clueless, isn’t he? Forget that he took the red wine and did not share. Forget that he basically cused out the entire house.  He is sorry because he did not direct his anger at the right person.  And here I thought David was the stupid one.

The rest of the night was either Jeremy kissing ass and apologizing to…basically whoever would listen or others rehashing what happened.

Lots of fights. Lots of drama. And we are not even to our first eviction.  Love them or hate them, at the very least, they are doing what we love…entertaining us.

Catching Up to Speed on BB15 - Recap of the First Two Days

Now that it has been a couple of days and the newness of the HGs are wearing off and the tweets have gone from 500 a minute to a little under 100, we can finally take a moment to catch our breath.  Breath in.  Breath out.  Okay.  Let me get something out of the way that I never thought would cross my lips, let alone that I would actually put in writing: Thank you Robyn Kass, you did an excellent job casting 16…errr 15.5… newbies for our beloved show!!! (For the idiot impaired, Elissa is Rachel’s sister) Thank you!  See? I said that with a straight face and I did not gag once.  Yes, you can clap.  Thank you.

With that out of the way, let’s get caught up as to what is going on in the house: McCrae is HOH.  He has nominated Candice and Jessie.  Elissa won the BBMVP (Shock me shock me). The Have Nots are Andy, Elissa, Judd, Howard, and Helen.  Elissa nominated David.  A shit load of HGs played in the POV.  McCrae won the POV. Breath in.  Breath out.  Okay, I think that covers the easy stuff. Got it? Good. Because it is about to get difficult.

Moving on to the alliances.   Let’s start with the easy one: if there is an alliance, McCrae is part of it.  Not kidding.  Really. Grab some patience and I will prove it.  The Moving Company (I kind of actually like that name) consists of Nick, McCrae, Jeremy, Howard, and Spencer.  Next is the Party-Darty Pizzalliance (I wonder who made up that name?) that consists of McCrae and Judd.  Then there is the McCranda Alliance that consists of McCrae and Amanda (Get the name now? Get it? Get it? Forget about it) And finally there is the Boom Squad aka Blondetourage Alliance that consists of Aaryn and David (Daaryn) Jeremy and Kaitlin (Jeaitlin) and Nick and GinaMarie (NickMarie).  3 out of 4.  Not bad McCrae.  Those that appear to not be in alliance are Helen, Andy, Elissa, Jessie, and Candice.  Confused yet?  Join the club.  And no, I did not make any of these alliance names up.  Seriously.  I didn’t.  As for romances, don’t even get me started.  Let’s just go with what I just listed with those funny mashed up names and leave it at that.  K? Thanks.

Okay, now for the BBMVP.  Let’s start with what we know, which is very little.  Every week, America gets to vote for who they think has played the best game that week.  (Exchange “played the best” with “who’s your favorite” or my personal favorite “whoever AG wants it to be that week”) Once the BBMVP has been selected, they have the power to nominate someone right before the players are picked for the POV comp.  That is all that we know for sure.  There are still a lot of questions that have not been answered.  Can the BBMVP be nominated and/or be a replacement nominee? (Best guess is yes) If the HG nominated by the BBMVP is taken of the block via the POV, does the HOH or the BBMVP select the replacement nominee? (Best guess is BBMVP) And, with a different TV format than the last couple of seasons, (this year’s format is the same as BB9) when in the hell is the POV ceremony?  As with the other questions, we are not 100% positive...yet.  As to the questions about the BBMVP, we might never know, this way AG can make the shit up as she goes.  And who said that Big Brother is not manipulated show?  Aww…to be young and naïve.

Speaking of the POV ceremony, the easy question supposedly has already been answered: Yes, McCrae is going to use the POV.  Who is he going to put up?  I really don’t think anyone knows.  Including McCrae.  There have been names bantered around…such as Elissa…and then thirty seconds later, she is safe.  At this point, who knows?  And with the POVC more than likely occurring on Sunday, it will probably change a couple of thousand times between now and then.  In other words, I have already wasted enough brainpower on trying to figure out this riddle. Oh, one last thing, Elissa, being the first HG voted out? Hell has a better chance of freezing over before AG lets that shit happen.
I don’t know about you, but my brain has been taxed enough for one night.  Keeping up with 16 HGs is almost impossible…but a lot of fun in the attempt to keep up with what is going on.  So, what do you think of our lovely 16 new HGs now that you have seen them in the house for a couple of days?  Who is your favorite?  Who do you like the least? Who do you hope gets evicted? Sound off in the comments below and let us know.

Big Brother 15 Launch

We have been complaining about it for the last several seasons.  The BB Gods heard us and finally delivered.  16 brand spanking new HGs.  Well, except for one.  With 15 newbies, I am willing to let her slide.  For now.  If you don't know who I am talking about, then there is no need to explain.  Anyway, LET THE SEASON BEGIN!!!

The show begins with Julie inside the house. If you have not seen it, there are several photos and videos online and it is sooooo much better than last year.  After the intro, we get the front of the house.  Holy crap.  What a make over.  So much better.  Now BB, let’s talk about HD.  What in the hell is it going to take to get you to switch to HD.  I mean, holy shit.  Besides BB, are there ANY shows that are not in HD?  Time to step it up BB. Moving on.
Next, we get the new HGs getting their keys letting them know that they have been picked to be on the show.  Ummm…yeah, with a camera in your face, please try to act surprised.  I will spare you and skip this part.
Time for the HGs to move into the house.  The first group consisted of GinaMarie, Judd, Candice, and Andy.  After GinaMarie got her scream on, the second group moved in, which consisted on Jeremy, Kaitlin, Elissa, and McCrae.  The third group was Helen, Nick, Howard, and Jessie; and the fourth group was Spencer, David, Aaryn, and Amanda.  Even though we did not really get to see it, by the time the fourth group moved in, all of the beds were taken. Time for some to start doubling up.

Next we get the traditional meet and greet.  The one thing that stood out for me is that David is a complete and utter moron.   There is no hiding it.  He makes stupid look like a genius.  He does not draw unemployment because he is lazy, he draws it because he is so stupid that no one will hire him.  Unbelievable.  The second thing that stood out is Elissa saying that she is going to keep it a secret that Rachel is her sister.  That lasted about…ummm....10 minutes.  Thanks to the lovely CBS editing, we did not get to see just how many, if not all, HGs know that Rachel is her sister.  Hopefully we will find out on Sunday.
Now that the HGs are in the house, let the secret alliances begin.  The first group of idiots…errr…secret alliance members are Jeremy, Spencer, and Howard.  Exactly 30 seconds later, Jeremy, Jessie, and David formed a secret alliance.  A few minutes later, one of the girls mentioned something about an all girls alliance.  Obviously, someone has NEVER watched BB before.  You asked for newbies, here ya go!!!  Gotta love it!!!

Time for the first twist of BB15.  Julie reveals to the HGs that there will not be two nominees this year.  Some brilliant newbie said, “what, there will only be one?” I swear to God, I am not making this shit up.  Someone actually said that.  Like I said above, you wanted newbies, here ya go.  Anyway, the first twist is that every week there will be three nominees.  The HOH will pick two and the third will be picked by…we will get to that in a minute.  No really, Julie would not tell us.  We all had to wait.

So, on with the first HOH comp.  It is the typical hang on to some large stuffed thing as long as you can.  Like the banana thing last year.  This year is a “popsicle” while getting sprayed with some type of crap and a large tongue smacking them.  Judd and Howard were the first to fall claiming that they dropped on purpose, as they did not want to be the first HOH.  When it got down to the final four – David, Jeremy, Nick and McCrae, Julie offered a deal for the next one to drop: a chance to open one of two lunch boxes, which one of the lunch boxes contains a “Never Not” pass.  What is a “Never Not” pass you ask?  Exactly what it sounds like, a pass where you are never a Have Not.  What the hell?  How cool is this? Freaking awesome if you ask me.  Idiot David can’t resist and drops.  Of course, he picks the wrong lunch box.  Two seconds later, Jeremy drops and wins the “Never Not” pass.  Did I mention that Jeremy is a douche bag? Nope? Well, he is.  Big time.
With only Nick and McCrae left on the Popsicle, Nick quickly makes a deal with McCrae.  With that, we have the first BB15 HOH: Congrats McCrae!!!

After the HOH comp, Julie gather the HGs in the living room to explain the next twist, the BBMVP. The BBMVP  (BB - Big Brother  - MVP - Most Valuable Player - yes, I had to explain that as there is a good chance that David is reading this) will have the power to select the third nominee.  The BBMVP will be told in secret that they are the BBMVP and their nomination will also be made in secret. And who will pick the BBMVP?  Us, the viewers.  We get to vote every week who we want to be that week’s BBMVP. If this does not get abused, yeah right, this has a great opportunity to be a great twist.  Chances are, BB will find a way to screw this up.

Well, that is it.  Welcome to BB15.  What did you think?  Love or hate the new HGs?  And what about the new twists?  Sound off in the comments bleow and let us know!!!
